Bird Swing, Pair of defect Seagram's V.O. Whisky bottles, 1976 Vintage

These are 2 Seagram's VO Whisky Bottles that are factory defective, and rejected for Bird Swing Defects. They were salvaged and stored for 42 years. The Whisky inside was dumped at the factory, but the smell of that original whisky remains. The inside of the bottle is cloudy, but I'm afraid to try and clean it, lest I damage the bird swings. They appear very delicate. The actual bird swings are visible in the pictures and both are very symmetrical. Both bottles have the Original Labels, Ribbons and Caps. There is no "Strip Stamp" as was common with retail bottles of the day, because the Whisky was dumped and bottle rejected before the Strip Stamp machine. One bottle has a whisky stained label, which adds a little character to the age. Sorry I can't offer returns because of the risk of being returned with damaged swings. I encourage a personal inspection prior to taking delivery, so you are convinced the swings are intact. Hope you enjoy the post, and thanks for looking.
