This is a tiny 1955 or so vintage sport car made by Eshelman of Baltimore Maryland. It will accomodate 2 children or 1 adult. It is tiny and measures only 55 inches long by 24 inches wide and 23 inches high. It has a single cylinder 4 stroke cycle Briggs & Stratton engine up front driving a centrifugal clutch that runs a belt back to drive both of the rear wheels through identical chain reductions on each rear wheel.
The chassis is of heavy gauge steel sheet material as is most of the body. The front and back of the body share the same aluminum castings that say "ESHELMAN" above the grille opening.The front casting has holes for headlamps while the rear casting has no corresponding holes for lights of any kind.
The steering wheel is made of cast iron, also says "ESHELMAN" on it and is missing a small piece of the hub.
Someone added the center post for a windshield a long time ago but I have no more of the windshield parts. I would suggest that the new owner remove that windshield center post.
