Here is a
Unique Large Wood Bell Model
in good shape as pictured.
Naturally, this would make a good trade sign, however Model appears to be formed to foundry specs to manufacture a bell.
Although no maker's mark observed, solid wood bell is a quality representation of a standard finished brass bell.
Bell does not have a clapper, nor any indication that one was ever attached. The top appears to be inserted into bell with a wax seal, presumably as part of the casting process.
Item is in remarkably good used condition, with only typical minor usage marks, surface scratches, etc, and without cracks, holes, repairs, etc, as pictured.
Overall dimensions: Height 14" X Diameter 15-1/2".
