vintage 1960s whale boat navy 5" HORN copper brass ship

Description

this was taken off a 1960s whaler boat that was used in the US Navy.
someone tried to clean the paint off but gave up.
as pictured.
I think it works.
fairly heavy.  weighs over 12 LBs
has a little logo stamped in the top (see photo) possibly CF (?)
mounting holes are 6.5" apart (there are 3)
overall roughly 11" x 9"
5" high, mounting bracket is 2" high (total 7" high)
horn opening is 5" across
sold as a collectors item not guaranteed to fit your boat or work
